Hello! My name is Ian Turner, and I am officially making this thread with the intent of applying for the open rock gym leader position.

I'm originally from College Park, Maryland but I currently hail from Nashua New Hampshire.

I've been playing Pokemon with my good buddy Andrew for 20 years, and I have no intention to stop playing any time soon. While my type knowledge isn't perfect, I take pride in knowing gimmickey and lesser known strategies. Some of you may know that for a fact if you're a MAGFest gym leader and have faced my Bibarrel.

While I'm not comfortable talking about what I can bench, my social security number, blood type, credit score, and running abilities, I will gladly answer any questions ya'll might have. Let the trials begin!

Good Mor-day-evening reader. I am Micah or Yuki to some, blood type O+, SSN: HOW-BO-UTNO. It is here that I declare my intention to meet the upcoming trials head on with rock hard determination. I can fulfill all the set requirements (almost) with the exception of the cleft chin.

Currently I reside in Laurel, Maryland. If MAGFest wasn't already a sign of how far I have come (hint: not much victory-wise, but more contending-wise) then know my pet rocks and I will be out there to play spoiler to some of you. Nevertheless I extend a hand of sportsmanship and hope all will do their best as being the "weakest" gym leader is a grand privilege to be attained. To all those I must face, say your prayers to RNGesus, warm up the buses, prepare your victory fanfares (as I will be doing a lot of losing) and let's have a good time.

My name is Joshua (Josh) and I am still rather new to the Breeding and Competitive Battling scene. been playing since I was 9 but had to stop since I no longer had a system till I was 18. Since they announced that they would have trials I have been going rampant in trying to beat the game get parents and just talk to everyone to get to know people better. I live in Jacksonville NC and there isn't much to do here so having a group such as this means the world to me especially in today's life with the situations going on here to me and my family. I am prepared to take on these trials and come out with Rock Solid information win or lose!

I'm Jon and I'm also throwing my hardhat in the ring. Been playing Pokémon since I could hold a Game Boy and will probably be playing Pokémon till I can no longer voluntarily move my fingers. Unless they start letting you beam video games into your brain Sword Art Online style, then there's no hope for me stopping.


I try to be knowledgeable about just about every bit of this franchise, so I've got a solid foundation, and I'm certain these trials will be a good way to broaden my horizons as far as competitive battling.

Hello all of my friends and fellow Pokemon trainers. My name is Nick Kurtz and through my cunning wits and raw strength I plan to be the very best, like no one ever was. I have played Pokemon since I was a wee lad, however it has been a mere month since I even found out what competitive battling was and how to do it. My mind is still rattling trying to hold down all the information. I have come a long way and I don't intend to stop learning because this makes Pokemon even more fun then I have ever expected. Also you will know me as the guy who attempts to make the most unusual things work because I hate playing the meta.

Being able to bench 225 at least 12 times in a set: I used to be able to do this if that counts
Having a cleft chin: I will wear make up for you guys to make this happen
A credit score of at least 700: Check
Able to run a mile and a half in under 10 minutes and 30 seconds: Again used to be able to do this about 100lbs ago. That should count for something. They use bikes in Pokemon for a reason!
No throwing tantrums about the no legends thing: I'm here to break the meta anyway!

My name is David Quinn. I was Agatha for the Red vs Blue MAGfest Challenge in 2016, Normal Gym Leader for MAGfest 2017, and currently one of the Elite Four in ECPL. I have participated in the Bug and Ice trials as well. Every trial I go through, like a Saiyan, I get stronger. As someone who had the honor to face each GL on ECPL and see their rock types, I am extremely eager to combine what I have learned with some unique traits. I look forward to seeing what I can learn with this new trial, and if chosen, would be honored to be the Rock GL for ECPL to teach and watch grow trainers through the ECPL's gym challenge.
