MAGFest Pokémon League Normal Gym Battles

I've been gradually uploading all my MAGFest Gym Battles in chunks of six, with commentary.  I have the first 18 battles up and should finish all of them within the next couple weeks.  The first one is here, and the rest should show up in the related bar on the side.

You can actually embed videos directly into the forum post by using the little button that looks like a video camera. I edited your post and embedded the video for you =P

Nice, what'd you use to record the video? I was thinking about posting some of the replays I saved from MAGfest.

My method requires a few prerequisite purchases. I already had an okay digital camera, semi-pro video editing software, and a decent microphone, so I figured I could put them to use on this.

I turned off the lights, set up my camera on a tripod, and tried to frame the top screen as well as I could. I ran the headphone jack into my sound card to record the audio separately. I then synced up the audio and video in the video editor and rendered. Then I hooked up my mic and recorded commentary while watching the video. Then I added it into the video project and rendered again.

Thanks! I guess I can try to do that with the decent mic on my gaming headset, the webcam on my 6 year old laptop, and a copy of window movie maker. I probably won't look as good as what you have here, but I think I can turn it into something serviceable. The only difference is that I'll probably do a lot of the commentary in post. I'm not the best at doing things on the fly.
