What are your thoughts on a Monotype Multibattle Tournament?

If I had to guess it's probably because I posted this around the time the ECPL was filling out the last few open gym leaderships so that probably to precedence over running a multi battle tournament. I also know David wanted to hold off on tournaments for a while to hopefully encourage more people battle their way through the gyms. There's also a handful of other ECPL tournaments on the horizon so this keeps getting pushed back.

Although I suppose I could always make an attempt to run this tournament. The main issue of course is attendance and finding a way to reliably have four people get online at the same time.

I see no harm in maybe having this for fun or having this as a Gym Leader tournament.

I think this was suggested a couple of times as a GL tournament style format where we can only use mons from our gym team randomly paired up with someone.

Our next official tournament starts in May.
